In this house in Scarborough, the right wall of the exterior foundation was excavated and waterproofed by RCC Waterproofing in the spring following a thaw. The area of the trenches dug was 28 feet across, and 7 feet deep to ensure that part of the home will stay dry. After fixing the cracks with hydraulic cement, two layers of Hydroguard rubber membrane were applied to the walls and then an air gap membrane was added to help circulate moisture. Weeping tile was installed along the bottom of the trenches as well as 3/4 gravel to ensure there is proper drainage.
