Background

RCC waterproofed 16 feet of block foundation at this Richmond Hill home and added a new window well.

Challenge

The deep excavation had to expose the block wall around the basement windows so the waterproof membrane could be applied full depth, with a new window well and finished grading to follow.

What RCC did

Sales Rep Mauro Lionessa and crew member Omar handled the project. The deep excavation exposed the block wall around the basement windows, where the waterproof membrane was applied full depth before the new window well was installed and the grading was finished.

Results

The block wall is sealed full depth and the new window well keeps water away from the basement windows. Finished grading directs surface water away from the foundation. The basement stays dry, and the window area is protected for the long term.
