RCC Waterproofing came to this house in Scarborough to excavate a 5 foot portion of the exterior foundation. There was a basement leak happening on the right side of the house and to fix it, a crack has to be repaired with hydraulic cement before it can be waterproofed. After cementing the crack, the waterproofers then apply two coats of Hydro Guard rubber membrane and a roll of DMX air gap barrier is also applied on the foundation wall. The trench is trhen backfilled with the original soil and then filled with 3/4" crushed stone to create an extra layer of drainage..
