Background

RCC excavated 24 linear feet at this Ajax home to restore and waterproof the concrete foundation.

Challenge

The section needed full excavation and waterproofing, with the weeping tile replaced. Cracks above grade needed patching with hydraulic cement, and the trench work had to navigate the utility conduits running alongside the house.

What RCC did

Sales Rep Nicholas Theodorou and crew member Omar handled the job. RCC excavated the 24 linear feet, restored and waterproofed the concrete foundation, and replaced the weeping tile. Cracks above grade were patched with hydraulic cement while the crew worked the full length of the trench around the utility conduits.

Results

The foundation is now restored and sealed, with new weeping tile carrying groundwater away from the home. The basement stays dry, and the foundation is protected for years to come.
